Resource List - Stories
Every breast cancer story is different, yet so much is the same. Fear, hope, laughter, tears - all of life is experienced intensely during what is called the 'cancer journey'. Just as stories have been used throughout time to illustrate life, to capture history and to pass on wisdom to the next generation, breast cancer stories can illuminate the experience for women and their loved ones.
Here are some examples of these stories. The BCCA library has these books and videos, but there are many more out there. Ask at your public library, check your bookstores, check the Internet and ask your fellow patients.
